User management is carried out by the Sitemorse Support Team to ensure that all the necessary granular rules and configuration elements are correct. Experience has shown that this saves time correcting incorrect configuration elements further down the line.

Once a support ticket is logged it usually takes less than 8 hours to add or remove a user from your Sitemorse deployment. If it is urgent, add this to the support task and we will get to it promptly (but please don’t mark everything as being urgent!).

If you remove a user then their Sitemorse history will remain in the system for auditing and retrieval purposes. Subject to your contract with the Sitemorse Archiving Service, their data is kept for up to seven years. The storage of user-generated content is also separate to the user profile being altered or removed. You will be able to see the activity history of that individual user for seven years following the initial recording.

Using Sitemorse, you can also forward actions and task lists to individuals without accounts, such as contractors, agencies and colleagues in other departments. This provides them with all the details needed to solve a specific issue (including having access to the relevant report within the Sitemorse platform). The functionality minimises the number of accounts that you need while ensuring that it is easy to direct issues to those responsible for them.
