Benchmarks

Sitemorse calculates scores, based on assessments across User Experience, Search Engine Optimisation and Governance, Risk and Compliance.

The score is calculated as follows:

  • 36% weighting to Links
  • 26% weighting to Performance
  • 20% weighting to Accessibility
  • 18% weighting to Quality

Also, the following additions and subtractions are made:

  • If the "first page metadata" test is failed, 0.25 is subtracted.
  • For each of the Broadband and Fast Broadband
    "first page timings" tests, 0.1 is subtracted for each "fail".
