Pages

There isn’t a limit to the number of pages that you can use Sitemorse on – the number of pages assessed as part of your Sitemorse deployment is based simply on the subscription package that you have. In terms of system capacity, we have scaled to over 4 million pages.

One of the greatest ‘downsides’, limitations and in fact problems with the current market is the plethora of legacy services which set out to assess a complete site every week – providing what we call endless reporting. It’s something that we’re looking to move our clients away from. There’s no point in assessing a page that essentially no one looks at – the priority should instead be the pages that have the greatest value.

We have spent the last three years investing significantly in intelligence, automation and data science capabilities – removing ever more of the manual, time consuming elements of deciding who is going to deal with what and the management of actions. Our new machine learning engine processes your content to understand and create value and it maps discovered actions and their likely impact. Reporting is then provided by role, for instance delivering a shortlist of 10 pages to deal with for the contact owner.

However, one-off site-wide reports are available and are effective, for example, when undertaking a large redevelopment project to weed out unwanted or error-prone content, or branding issues, ahead of a relaunch. The great thing with Sitemorse is that you choose your subscription level and reporting is then unlimited – so you could run reports four times a day if you really wanted – and with the full results stored and available for recall.
