This week, Support Lead, Helen Grimbly is looking at tips for defining the scope for Ad hoc tests. The following example outlines how adding "/" on the end of the URL will reduce the scope for the pages assessed.

Example:

A user wants to run an Ad hoc test, to assess all Easter events, and the Easter homepage has the following format (with no "/" on the end):
https://www.example.com/events/easter
- Then "all" events pages could be assessed, not just Easter events (according to the number of pages requested).
To reduce the scope of pages assessed to just Easter events, then add "/" on the end:
https://www.example.com/events/easter/
- So only Easter events would be assessed.
