This week, Support Lead, Helen discusses the global exclusion for 429 errors "Too Many Requests".

The 429 error can occur if a server operator has limited the number of requests to the server within a time period.

To reduce the number of 429 errors that are raised in a client assessment or INDEX assessment, Sitemorse has now applied a global exclusion so these will not be listed. This exclusion only applies to external links from the assessed site, as usually there is nothing that the site operator can do to prevent these 429 errors, and very few site visitors will experience them.
