Developer Corner - Dashboard lists different Reports to Digital Properties

This week, Support Lead, Helen Grimbly will be explaining why the list of Reports for a site on the Dashboard can be different to the list of Reports for the same site on Digital Properties.

Users have the option to run On-Demand assessments for new and existing sites. All of these will appear for that site under the related Digital Properties tab, e.g. One way of running an On-Demand report is:

  • Select the Cog icon for a site
  • Select 'Request new assessment' option
  • Select number of pages
  • Select 'Queue audit'

The resulting Report will appear as the latest Report for that site under Digital Properties. But these On-Demand assessments will not appear on the Dashboard, as the Dashboard only shows Scheduled assessments. This is in order to make it clear when weekly / monthly assessments have run and will run, and to help when reviewing results over an equal ongoing timeframe for benchmarking purposes.

On-demand asessments can also be run for existing or new sites from the Dashboard, and results will be emailed to the selected recipients (and Dashboard owner), but again these Reports will not appear in the Dashboard calendar as these are not Scheduled Reports. But they will appear on Digital Properties for that site.

Summary: 

  • Dashboard: Scheduled Reports only. 
  • Digital Properties: All Reports.
