The Minister for the Cabinet Office is designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(1) in relation to the accessibility of public sector bodies’ websites and mobile applications(2). The Minister for the Cabinet Office makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of, as read with paragraph 1A(3) of Schedule 2 to, the European Communities Act 1972.
