On the 7th December 2020, the UK government updated its content design guidance for open formats… “If you publish a PDF or other non-HTML document without an accessible version, you may be breaking the law.”

US | A Second California State Court Judge Says the ADA Covers Online-Only Businesses

California Superior Court Judge Gregory Kiosan decided that Title III of the ADA does cover online-only businesses and refused to dismiss a lawsuit filed against an online-only video game retailer.

Canadian businesses are facing a January 1, 2021 deadline to make websites and web content accessible. The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requires organizations with 20 or more employees to file a compliance audit in advance of this filing deadline.
