Web Performance Tools: The Customer’s View

‘In comparison to LIFT and Bobby, for example, the Sitemorse website test took seconds rather than minutes to produce a performance report. I particularly liked the presentation of the Sitemorse reports, which were clean and accessible in their own right. The other more established two looked rather shabby.

Business2www.com’s clients range from the Child Support Agency to e-consultancy.com and by and large the reports are very good. They say that it has enabled them to improve the quality of their sites, to conform to WAI, and to eliminate a number of technical glitches that they wouldn’t otherwise have known about (your customers won’t always tell you about a technical problem unless there is an incentive to do so), and it save time and resources by allowing checks to be undertaken at all page levels without any need to download your site to your desktop.’
