This week, Support Lead, Helen Grimbly outlines how to update Scores for assessments.

The main sites for a Sitemorse Service will be set to run at scheduled time intervals, normally weekly. When an assessment has completed, the Overall Score for the new assessment is calculated along with Scores for each individual category.

When changes (e.g. edits to web pages etc) are made between your scheduled assessment runs, the effect on the score is not visible until the next run.

If you would like the Score for an existing listed site updated in between the defined schedule time, there are facilities to re-run an assessment for that site.

Please see the following article on how to re-run an assessment from Digital Properties:

Managers who have access to the Dashboard can also re-run an assessment of an existing site from their Dashboard:

When the assessment has complete, a notification email will be sent and a new Report will be listed for that site with the Score updated.

Re-running an assessment can be particularly useful if a lot of changes have been made and the impact on the site needs to be known in a shorter time span. For example if a new template change has been made which has a large effect on many pages, or a Pre Launch site nears its release date, then additional assessments could be beneficial.
