Sitemorse scores an assessment based on criteria across User Experience, Search Engine Optimisation and Governance, Risk and Compliance.

Overall Sitemorse Mark

The Overall Mark is calculated as follows:

  • 36% weighting to Function diagnostics
  • 26% weighting to the Performance Mark
  • 20% weighting to the Accessibility Mark
  • 18% weighting to Quality diagnostics

Also, the following additions and subtractions are made:

  • if the "first page metadata" test is failed, 0.25 is substracted.
  • For each of the Broadband and Fast Broadband "first page timings" tests, 0.1 is substracted for each "fail".
